Subsea Cranes' Features and its Advantages

(15T- 250T lifting capacity)

Active Heave Compensation (AHC) System:

High compensation accuracy and stable operation.

Precise Lifting Under Extreme Cold Conditions:

Operates in extremely cold environments with temperatures as low as -40°C.


Winch Options:

Can be delivered with Hydraulic or Electric Winch Drives.


Flexible Placement:

The Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) and Winch can be located either on the Crane or below deck.

Control Systems and Other Features

Integrated Movements:
Active Heave Compensation, tension mode, auxiliary, and Towing's Winch functions are integrated in the in-house designed control system.

Windlasses' and Winches' Specifications

Drive Types:

Electric or Electro-hydraulic.


Applicable Ship Types:

Container Ships, Bulk Carriers, MPCs, Ro-ro ships, Ferries, Passenger Ships / Cruise Ships, and LNG Series Vessels.


Mooring Tension:

Ranges from 50 kN to 350 kN.


Anchor Chain Diameter:

Varies from 32 mm (K3) to 147 mm (K2).


Reduction Gear:

Closed type for Mooring Winches, open type with Production Cover for Windlasses.


Reels:

Can be split or non-split for operation with synthetic or Steel Wire Ropes.
 

Brakes:

Manual or Hydraulic Control.


Recommended Basis:

Steel Lining / Resin Blocks for Windlasses / Mooring Winches, Resin Blocks or self-aligning for Mooring Winches.


Controls:

Local, Remote Shipside Control Station, and / or Portable Radio Controller; Single-grip Push-button Controller installed standard on each Drum and Windlass.


Drive Mode:

Electric Frequency Control or Hydraulic.


Operating Mode:

Automatic or Non-automatic.


Additional Functions:

Backup System, Mooring Host System, Radio Control, and Constant Tension System.
